ECM/PCM OEM PROGRAMMING When a diesel engine cools, soot from diesel exhaust falls out of the suspension system, potentially constricting or plugging the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve, EGR runners, and the air intake manifold if this carbon builds up in a diesel truck’s induction system. Literally, your truck will be choking for air.
